A wedding ceremony in Hardoi descended into chaos after a shocking revelation by the bride. The young woman claimed that the groom was not the man she had been speaking to online, leading to a violent clash between the two families.
Devendra Singh Parimar, 23, met the bride through Instagram, and the relationship quickly blossomed. However, moments before the ceremony, the bride, a lawyer, identified the groom as someone different from Rahul, the name given to her during their online interactions.
In the aftermath of the accusation, tensions flared, resulting in several injuries including Parimar, who required hospital treatment. Authorities have detained nine individuals involved in the fracas for further investigation.
