At the Renewable Asia and Energy Expo, Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) is prominently displaying the state's pioneering renewable energy initiatives. The event, a key draw at ELASIA 2026, is situated at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre and runs until May 17, according to officials.
KREDL has set up a stall to highlight various initiatives and technological advancements pivotal to Karnataka's clean energy transition. This includes efforts to support sustainable energy solutions, increase energy security, and meet the state's escalating power needs.
Managing Director K P Rudrappaiah emphasized Karnataka's leadership in India's renewable energy sector, underpinned by progressive policies and innovation. He advocated for the potential collaborations and emerging technologies that the expo could ignite, which are vital for the state's future-proof energy ecosystem.
