West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari paid a visit to the ISKCON temple in Mayapur, Nadia district, where he performed the 'Gau Puja' and sought divine blessings. Adhikari emphasized that the visit was part of his ongoing spiritual journey since taking office.

Speaking to ANI, Adhikari expressed his affinity towards spiritual locations, mentioning that visiting the ISKCON temple was a personal aspiration fulfilled. Yudhistir Govinda Das, an ISKCON Trustee, remarked on the Chief Minister's long-standing relationship with the organization and expressed joy at his swift return post-inauguration.

Meanwhile, Adhikari announced significant advancements in border security measures on Wednesday. The state government has facilitated the construction of Border Security Force (BSF) outposts and barbed-wire fencing, distributing 142.79 acres of land across nine districts, including Murshidabad and Jalpaiguri, to bolster security efforts.
