Delhi's Hospitals on Standby Amid Tensions: Government Ensures Readiness

In response to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta convened a meeting with senior health officials of Delhi government's hospitals on Friday to evaluate emergency readiness.
Following discussions with medical directors, Gupta assured the public that the hospitals are fully staffed and equipped to handle any emergencies, with no looming shortages of personnel or medicines.
Health Minister Pankaj Singh emphasized that although disaster wards are not yet needed, beds have been reserved for emergencies. Singh reiterated the preparedness of Delhi hospitals, highlighting the availability of emergency medicines and essential equipment.
