Union Minister Jitendra Singh paid a visit to the Government Medical College and Hospital to assess the health status of six civilians injured in the recent Pakistani shelling.

Singh, also the Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, was briefed on the conditions of the patients by a team of doctors led by GMC Principal Ashutosh Gupta. He reported that all victims are receiving necessary treatments internally.

Singh commended the hospital's staff for managing the situation efficiently, highlighting the institution's ability to treat critical cases without referring patients elsewhere. This demonstrates the hospital's preparedness and capability in handling emergent medical scenarios.
