Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has sanctioned Rs 55 lakh for the medical treatment of needy individuals from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, aimed to offer support through 2025, according to an official statement.

In the 13th edition of the public grievances hearing held on Monday, Majhi promptly approved medical assistance for three individuals suffering from incurable and chronic illnesses, highlighting the government's commitment to healthcare support.

Altogether, Majhi has sanctioned medical funds for 51 people this year. The government has introduced a single-window system to ensure swift medical assistance. The public grievances hearing, attended by senior officers and nine ministers, reported a 91 percent resolution rate for the 11,516 grievances heard.
