Delhi's Intensified Stray Dog Sterilisation Campaign: Collaborative Efforts Underway

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has intensified its initiative to tackle the growing issue of stray dogs, a significant public health concern in the capital. This comes after a meeting of a specially formed sub-committee overseeing the problem-solving strategies.

The committee, under the guidance of Standing Committee Chairperson Satya Sharma, plans to expedite the dog sterilisation campaign. Collaborating closely with both current NGOs and potential new partners, they aim to enhance the effectiveness of these efforts and eliminate procedural hurdles with governmental aid.

In a drive to prioritise citizen safety, strategies will unfold constituency-wise for improved execution. The sub-committee will deliver its findings in a month, with the next meeting set on Monday to evaluate existing sterilisation guidelines.
