In a strategic move to enhance the healthcare landscape in Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the SSB Multispeciality Hospital in Kailash Colony on Sunday. The hospital promises comprehensive, round-the-clock medical services at affordable rates.

Equipped with state-of-the-art amenities including robotic knee replacement, the hospital boasts specialized departments for gastroenterology, respiratory care, nephrology, and neuro and spine surgery. The facility aims to apply for empanelment under the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme for broader accessibility.

Speaking at the event, Gupta emphasized that India's hospital bed availability remains below international standards and stressed the importance of public-private partnerships to elevate Delhi into a global medical hub. Recent enhancements at the GB Pant Hospital are part of this vision, including advanced DNA profiling technology, signaling ongoing healthcare improvements.
