At the 39th convocation of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), a series of groundbreaking projects are set to be unveiled, signifying a significant step forward in medical education and healthcare. Leading among these are an advanced neurosciences centre, a maternal and child health centre, and a cutting-edge critical care block.
The convocation, scheduled for April 30, will reinforce PGIMER's longstanding dedication to health service excellence, with Union Minister J P Nadda and Dr. Vinod K Paul in attendance. The institute aims to offer improved healthcare through new facilities, enhanced infrastructure, and by leveraging its alumni presence worldwide.
PGIMER's Director, Prof Vivek Lal, highlights significant developments such as the operational Cardiac Emergency facility, expanded AMRIT pharmacies, and the institute's role in initiatives like Ayushman Bharat, emphasizing cost-effective healthcare delivery.
