In a shocking turn of events, a 26-year-old man was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances in Bundi, just hours before his nuptials were to take place, according to local police on Wednesday.
Initial investigations suggest that Ram Mewara may have ingested a poisonous substance in a possible suicide attempt. Found unconscious at his residence in Notara Bhopat village early Wednesday, Mewara was rushed to a private hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The groom-to-be was set to marry a woman from Kota whom he favored, with videos showing him in high spirits during pre-wedding festivities the previous night. The police have yet to find a suicide note, and family members have no insights into his decision. Authorities plan to examine his mobile phone to gather more information on the incident.
