In response to rising tensions along the Indo-Pak border, the Jammu Traders' Federation has urged calm amidst panic buying, assuring there is no shortage of essentials. The federation has activated 'war rooms' to distribute free ration and medicines to those affected by the conflict.
Evacuations have commenced due to heavy cross-border shelling by Pakistan, which has resulted in civilian casualties. President of the Jammu Traders' Federation, Deepak Gupta, reassured the public by declaring sufficient food supplies for three months and announced a reduction in prices of essential goods.
Gupta praised 'Operation Sindoo,' targeting terrorist bases, and supported the suspension of trade with Pakistan. The situation remains tense, with security forces on high alert.
