Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan emphasized that these drills serve to confirm the readiness of public safety mechanisms without spreading unwarranted panic among citizens.
The exercises were closely supervised by key officials, including Secretary Home Shailesh Bagauli and Director General of Police Deepam Seth, from the State Emergency Operations Centre.
