India's armed forces successfully thwarted Pakistani missile launches following the initiation of Operation Sindoor on May 7, according to high-level sources. Pakistan's attempts to target strategic Indian military positions using missiles and drones were neutralized by India's advanced defense systems.
In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, Indian forces executed precise missile strikes on terror hubs within Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, notably in regions like Bahawalpur, a bastion of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) group.
The defense ministry reported that during the night of May 7-8, Pakistan aimed its military aggression towards numerous sites in northern and western India. However, Indian forces countered the assaults with remarkable swiftness and precision, underscoring the effectiveness of India's air defense infrastructure.
