YSRCP chief and ex-Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been named as an accused in a deadly road accident in Palnadu district, police announced.

Guntur district's Superintendent of Police S Satish Kumar stated that the victim, identified as Singaiah, suffered severe injuries in the accident and was declared dead at a hospital.

Investigations revealed through evidence, including CCTV and drone footage, that the incident involved the former CM's vehicle, and charges have been escalated to include culpable homicide. Legal proceedings against Reddy and other parties involved are ongoing.
