Poland Prepares Safety Guide Amid Regional Tensions

Poland is enhancing its national resilience with the release of a comprehensive 'Safety Guide,' a government official announced. The manual addresses critical scenarios such as obtaining clean water, responding to air raids and blackouts, and finding bomb shelters.

The initiative emerges amid heightened regional tensions, notably the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has highlighted the persistent threat of global conflict, underscored by fears of Russian cyberattacks and disinformation campaigns.

Scheduled for online release in September, the guide will be available in multiple languages, including English and Ukrainian. The initiative aligns with Poland's strategic push for increased defense spending, allocating 4.7% of its GDP to military enhancement by 2025.
