In a significant breakthrough, Delhi police have apprehended Manoj Kumar Bharti, who was wanted with a reward of Rs 50,000 for allegedly deceiving individuals through false promises of overseas employment opportunities.

The arrest took place at a hotel in the Uttam Nagar's Bindapur area following a tip-off to a joint team comprising the Amaria Police Station and the Special Task Force (STF) Bareilly unit.

The accused, apprehended as part of an ongoing police operation entitled 'kabootarbazi' targeting immigration fraud, is accused of defrauding numerous individuals with fake documents. Legal proceedings are currently underway.
