Western Nations Demand Immediate End to Gaza Conflict as Civilian Toll Rises
A coalition of 25 Western countries, including Britain and Canada, has urged Israel to cease its offensive in Gaza, critiquing the 'inhumane killing' of Palestinians. The nations condemned restricted aid access and emphasized the dire humanitarian situation. Israel, however, labeled the criticism as misguided and blamed Hamas for ongoing hostilities.

A coalition of 25 Western nations, comprising Britain, France, and Canada, has urged Israel to immediately halt its military operations in Gaza, citing 'inhumane killing' of Palestinians and restricted aid access as critical issues. In a joint statement, these countries condemned the current system of aid distribution and the resultant civilian casualties, which they found appalling.
Most of the fatalities occurred near Gaza Humanitarian Foundation sites, currently under U.S. and Israel-backed management. The statement criticized the Israeli aid delivery model as destabilizing and degrading for Gazans' human dignity. With support from key allies like the U.S., the coalition demanded Israel comply with international humanitarian law for unrestricted aid flow.
In response, Israel's foreign ministry called the critique 'disconnected from reality,' asserting it misdirects blame from Hamas, responsible for the conflict, according to Israeli authorities. As Israeli forces advance further into Gaza, the conflict continues to devastate the region, with over 59,000 Palestinian lives lost, as per Gaza health officials.
