In a significant drug bust, police apprehended two individuals and seized MDMA powder, a synthetic drug often linked to rave parties, near Suriyawa railway station late Sunday evening.
According to Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik, the intercepted drug holds an illicit market value of Rs 14 lakh, indicating its substantial demand.
The operation, prompted by a tip-off, led to the arrest of Neeraj Upadhyay and Sandeep Upadhyay with 272.86 grams of MDMA. Authorities have initiated legal proceedings under the NDPS Act safeguarding the case's integrity.
