Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Kisan Union, has expressed support for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Uttar Pradesh. He praised Mayawati, the BSP chief, as the best chief minister for farmers, emphasizing her efforts to aid sugarcane producers.
During a visit to Sultanpur, Tikait remarked on the electoral revision ordered by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to expunge fake names. He highlighted Mayawati's enduring impact on the agricultural community compared to other leaders over the recent years.
