The incident occurred late Tuesday night when five youths embarked on a celebratory drive after 18-year-old Satyam Nishad won Rs 18,000 in an online game. Abhay Nishad owned the vehicle, which after an attempt to flee an earlier accident, lost control and crashed near an Indian Bank branch.
Satyam sustained serious head injuries, while Sangam and Vijay remain unconscious in a local medical facility. Abhay Nishad, 22, and Bajrangi Nishad, 21, were killed instantly. The car's high speed was a significant factor in the disastrous collision, authorities noted.
