Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instituted a specialized unit, 'Team-11', comprising his ministers to tackle and manage flood relief and rescue operations across the state.
The unit is assigned to monitor aid efforts in 12 districts impacted by severe flooding, aimed at ensuring safety, shelter, food, and health provisions for affected citizens. Key ministers, such as Swatantra Dev Singh and Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, are tasked with double responsibilities, covering two districts each.
Chief Minister Adityanath has urged swift, sensitive, and transparent actions while mandating ministerial visits to the districts to directly assess the relief camps and the condition of affected families. He warned against any negligence or laxity, emphasizing that all officials remain active in field duties to maintain comprehensive oversight.
