A deadly clash erupted between two rival factions in Morena city, Madhya Pradesh, resulting in a woman being critically injured by gunfire. According to authorities, the violence broke out near the Chhoti Lalor railway crossing, with witnesses reporting around 11 shots fired over a span of ten minutes.
Police confirmed that the feud between Phool Singh Jatav and Nawab Singh Jatav over local dominance had been escalating. A recent altercation between their sons had exacerbated tensions, leading to the confrontation on Monday morning. The conflict escalated when Phool Singh's group, armed, confronted Nawab Singh at his residence.
During the ensuing shootout, Sunita Jatav, part of Phool Singh's faction, was severely injured and rushed to the district hospital before being referred to Gwalior for further treatment. Law enforcement has since heightened security and launched an investigation into the incident, with cases filed against involved parties.
