Gold Chain Snatching Raises Security Concerns in Delhi

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President K Selvaperunthagai has raised concerns over a recent security breach in Delhi, where party MP R Sudha's gold chain was snatched. The incident occurred in the diplomatic enclave of Chanakyapuri, an area known for its high-security measures.

Selvaperunthagai, in a statement on Monday, demanded the immediate arrest of the offenders and condemned the law and order situation in the national capital, describing it as a 'question mark'. Sudha sustained minor injuries during the snatching, which happened while she was on a morning walk.

Emphasizing the gravity of the situation, Selvaperunthagai urged the government and Delhi police to prevent similar incidents and ensure the safety of all citizens, especially public representatives like MPs who serve the populace.
