In a chilling turn of events, police in Kerala have discovered additional human remains at a property in Pallippuram, Cherthala, intensifying the investigation into the mysterious disappearance of several women over the past two decades.

The latest find, consisting of around 20 charred bones, was located separate from prior discoveries, police sources indicated. This grim revelation emerges as officers, aided by cadaver dogs and forensic experts, continue to scour the property's ponds, marshlands, and surrounding area.

The probe is centered on Sebastian, a 68-year-old currently in custody, believed to be linked to the vanishing of at least three women. Investigators are now considering excavating a recently tiled granite room and conducting DNA tests to identify the remains. The investigation is spearheaded by the Kottayam unit of the State Crime Branch.
