In a significant development, Delhi police have apprehended Manjeet alias Dada, a notorious member of the Tillu Tajpuriya gang, after a gunfight in Sarojini Nagar. Manjeet, hailing from Haryana, was wanted in connection to the murder of Karan Thapa, linked to the rival Gogi gang.

The arrest follows intense rivalry between the Tillu Tajpuriya and Gogi gangs, with Manjeet acknowledging his actions were directed by gangster Deepak Pakasma from abroad. The incident underscores the ongoing gang warfare in the region, escalating with the murder of Thapa in Alipur earlier this year.

Manjeet, who sustained a leg injury during the shootout, is undergoing medical treatment. Police have confiscated a pistol, live cartridges, and a stolen motorcycle. Efforts continue to track down other gang members, as investigations reveal intricate operations spanning Delhi and Haryana.
