The Haryana Labour Department is poised for transformation, as it announces plans to establish help desks at the block level. These will enable workers to register and take advantage of central and state government schemes, according to Labour Minister Anil Vij.
Minister Vij, during a meeting with Labour Department officials, emphasized the need for complete transparency and innovative operational practices to uplift labourers. He stressed that enabling access to government schemes is crucial for actual beneficiaries.
Furthermore, Vij directed officials to initiate short training courses spanning three to six months to enhance worker skills without compromising their livelihoods. This initiative aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation by 2047.
