Tragic Incident at Deoria Station: Pan Shop Owner Struck by Train
A 48-year-old pan shop owner, Mannu Lal Prajapati, died after being hit by a train at Deoria Railway Station. He was crossing to another platform with his son for a medical trip to Varanasi. The incident occurred early Monday morning, and the body was sent for a post-mortem.

A 48-year-old pan shop owner, Mannu Lal Prajapati, tragically lost his life after being struck by a train at Deoria Railway Station on Monday morning, law enforcement officials reported.
Hailing from Shahpur Bhikham village, Prajapati departed his home with his elder son, Abhay, heading to Varanasi for medical reasons.
While waiting at the station, he attempted to cross onto another platform when the incident occurred, resulting in his immediate death. Authorities have dispatched his body for post-mortem examination, according to Baghauchghat Station House Officer Umesh Kumar.
