Chief Justice D K Upadhyaya, along with Justice Tushar Rao Gedela, reviewed a petition concerning property defacement during the elections. The bench examined a status report filed by Delhi Police and an affidavit submitted by the returning officer overseeing the DUSU elections.
Furthermore, the court expressed concerns about the ostentatious display of wealth and power during the election campaigns, which included high-end vehicles and machinery. The high court requested candidates and supporters to refrain from any violations and warned that breaches would be treated seriously. The hearing continues on September 17.
