Two men were tragically found deceased in a waste tanker at Dhampur Sugar Mills, Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, police reported.

Amit Kumar, in charge of Dhampur police station, revealed that the incident was uncovered after HR manager Vijay Gupta notified the authorities that two individuals had succumbed inside a bio-waste plant tanker.

Upon investigation, the bodies of Mukesh Pal, 25, and Salman, 28, were discovered inside the tanker, transferred from the mill's chemical unit to a bio-compost plant, Kumar noted. Preliminary findings suggest gas formation during cleaning caused the deaths. Post-mortem examinations are underway.
