Omar Abdullah's Swift Response to Kalaban Land Subsidence Crisis

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday flew to Kalaban village, Poonch, to evaluate the damage inflicted by ongoing land subsidence near the Line of Control (LoC).
The crisis, beginning September 11, has affected over 1,000 residents, destroying more than 95 homes, a mosque, and a graveyard, prompting relocations to safer shelters.
Abdullah pledged full government support and directed officials to ensure necessary relief facilities. Temporary relief camps and housing have been established to aid the displaced.
