The tournament has been a platform for showcasing the rise of Indian women golfers since its inception in 2007. While Aditi Ashok remains the sole Indian winner of the tournament in 2016, players like Amandeep Drall and Diksha Dagar have shown remarkable performances in recent years.
'Our continued support since 2010 has bolstered women's golf in India,' said Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President, Hero MotoCorp. Nearly all top Indian women golfers will compete, facing challenges from international players, including defending champion Liz Young, and emerging talents like Mimi Rhodes.
