The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly's fourth session opened with all MLAs from the NDA alliance present, while opposition YSRCP legislators chose not to attend.

The session's duration awaits a decision from the Business Advisory Committee (BAC). During his address, Energy Minister G Ravi Kumar announced an ambitious plan to install 10,000 solar power connections in each constituency under the PM Surya Ghar scheme. The minister revealed that Andhra Pradesh received 20 lakh of the one crore connections planned nationwide, although there are ongoing banking issues being resolved.

Kumar further emphasized efforts to install solar power units on government structures, such as schools and hostels, while the government aims to establish a capacity of 130 MW with this initiative.
