Voices of Leadership and Policy Direction
In her inaugural address on the opening day, Smt. Veena George, Minister for Health and Women & Child Development, Government of Kerala, stressed the need to balance technological innovation with traditional wisdom. She noted, “Digital tools should seamlessly integrate into the health ecosystem, enabling real-time monitoring, transparent financial tracking, and enhanced accessibility for citizens.”
Delivering the keynote address, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, declared that digital adoption is no longer optional but essential. He urged States and Union Territories to align with the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) by adopting interoperable systems, standardised software, and equitable access measures, ensuring the benefits of digital transformation reach every citizen.
