Dramatic Police Encounter Leads to Arrest of Robbery Suspects

In a dramatic turn of events, police successfully apprehended three suspects in connection to an assault and mobile phone robbery case, police reported on Saturday. The arrests followed a tense encounter in Zahidpur village.

During the confrontation, one suspect, Naveed, was shot in the leg. Officials recovered a country-made pistol, cartridges, and the stolen phone. The incident stemmed from a September 18th robbery at Soparsaaf intersection, where a Zahidpur resident, Manish, was held at gunpoint.

Circle Officer Antariksh Jain revealed that after receiving a tip-off, police captured Naveed, Samad, and Aris from Narhada village late Friday night. Naveed, who faces multiple charges, was hospitalized after the encounter, while efforts continue to locate a fourth suspect.
