In a daring escape, two prisoners broke out of Jaipur's high-security jail early on Saturday, police reported. The escapees, identified as Naval Kishore Mahawar and Anas Kumar, managed to scale a 27-foot wall using a rubber pipe before clearing a high-tension wire.

ACP Narayan Kumar stated that the prisoners utilized a rubber pipe, usually stored under stringent security, to climb the fortifications of the facility. A thorough headcount revealed the breakout, leading to immediate notification of senior officials and the initiation of a detailed investigation to assess potential complicity from jail staff.

The breakout has significantly raised concerns regarding security protocols at the penitentiary. Authorities have launched an extensive manhunt to recapture the fugitives, vowing to employ all necessary measures to secure their return to custody.
