In a bold move to combat corruption within Rajasthan's cooperative sector, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has launched the 'Sahkar Sadasyata Abhiyan' campaign on Thursday. Celebrated alongside Dussehra, the campaign aims to eradicate corruption likened to 'Ravanas' and rejuvenate cooperatives across the state.

Between October 2 and 15, over 8,200 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) will run special camps to recruit new members, focusing on women and youth. These efforts resonate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Sahkar se Samriddhi' (prosperity through cooperation).

Cooperative Minister Gautam Kumar Dak emphasized the long-term benefits such as improved agricultural storage and income via warehouse rentals, as well as increased transparency and efficiency through legislative reforms and e-KYC facilitation for PM-Kisan applications.
