In a shocking revelation, authorities in Haryana's Palwal have apprehended a YouTuber named Wasim Akram, accusing him of operating as a spy for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and its High Commission, officials announced on Thursday.

Akram, originating from Kot village in Palwal district, had curated YouTube content focused on Mewat's history. His arrest follows the capture of another alleged Pakistani spy, Taufiq, who revealed Akram's association with ISI agents. Akram reportedly established contact with a Pakistani agent in 2021 while seeking a visa to Pakistan.

The case has taken a significant turn as the police uncover incriminating evidence from Akram's mobile device, including WhatsApp chats suggesting espionage activities. The Palwal crime branch, led by SP Varun Singla, alongside the Intelligence Bureau, is delving deeper into the inquiry. Further arrests may unfold as the investigation progresses.
