An unfortunate accident occurred in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, claiming the lives of Swati Gupta and her young daughter Arya. The incident took place on Friday afternoon near the Khatu Shyam temple when a truck rear-ended their motorcycle.

Authorities identified the victims, 40-year-old Swati Gupta and her 8-year-old daughter Arya, as residents of Dalelganj. They were en route to the temple along with motorcycle rider Pradeep when tragedy struck.

Pradeep survived with injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, police have apprehended the truck driver and have initiated post-mortem procedures for the deceased.
