According to the police, the woman married Syed Inam Ul Haq in December 2024 and soon discovered she was his second wife. She alleges that her husband physically assaulted her and coerced her to sell gold ornaments. When she refused, she faced threats and intimidation.
The accused family members are also said to have participated in the harassment. After enduring months of abuse, the woman sought police intervention on September 30. Authorities confirmed the registration of a case under multiple sections of the Law, and investigations are ongoing.
