A bomb threat at the Rajasthan Assembly triggered a thorough search on Friday by security teams, yielding no suspicious findings, according to police statements. This incident marks the second warning in less than two weeks, raising concerns over recurrent threats to key government sites.
Police revealed the threat came via email to the Assembly, warning of a suicide attack with two attackers allegedly adorned in explosive belts. Quick responses ensued with Jyoti Nagar SHO Santara Meena, along with the bomb disposal and dog squads, initiating a meticulous investigation of the premises.
While no dangerous items were discovered, security measures were significantly heightened as a precautionary step. Officials also reported similar threats received on April 13, exacerbating worries over multiple threat emails that have been targeting Jaipur's critical public facilities, prompting ongoing investigations to identify the email source.
