In a notable ceremony held at Tana Bhagat Stadium in Ranchi, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren spearheaded the distribution of over Rs 9 crore among panchayat representatives under a new incentive award scheme. This initiative recognized local leaders for their exceptional contributions to developmental projects.
Highlighting the government's commitment to grassroots development, Soren stressed the critical role these representatives play in governance. "You are the eyes, ears, and nose of the government," Soren remarked, emphasizing that effective local leadership paves the way for statewide progress.
The Chief Minister also addressed past challenges, assuring the public that communication and scheme benefits now reach even the remotest areas. He reiterated the state's mission to bolster villages, ensuring no resident is deprived of basic needs, citing no recent hunger-related deaths as testament to their responsible governance.
