The Jharkhand Police achieved a breakthrough in a recent jewellery heist by arresting seven interstate criminals implicated in the crime, including two women. On Friday, authorities confirmed the recovery of looted gold and silver ornaments, alongside an assortment of weapons and vehicles.

Ramgarh Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat briefed reporters on the operation, explaining that the accused had targeted a jewellery shop on the Ramgarh-Bokaro National Highway-23 in Chitarpur. Initial arrests were made possible by villagers who detained two suspects fleeing the scene.

Following a complaint lodged by shop owner Vishnu Prasad, a Special Investigation Team, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Vats, conducted a series of raids, leading to the seizure of critical evidence such as a seven-seater car, two motorcycles, a scooter, a pistol, and live cartridges.
