Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has launched the 'Sahyog Portal' and a toll-free helpline number, 1100, as a new initiative to expedite the resolution of public grievances concerning various government departments. Officials confirmed the launch on Monday.
Choudhary emphasized stringent measures, including possible suspension, for officials who fail to process applications within a 30-day timeframe. These applications will be addressed during 'Sahyog' camps conducted at the panchayat level, led by district magistrates (DMs) and superintendents of police (SPs) for real-time oversight.
In addition, plans are underway to enhance transparency and monitoring by installing CCTV cameras in all administrative and police offices. The 'Sahyog' initiative aims to resolve issues efficiently and transparently, with compliance recorded on the Sahyog Portal.
