In a harrowing incident, two women hailing from Assam and Bihar were reportedly molested and faced racial abuse outside a hotel situated in southeast Delhi's Nehru Place. Police have identified four suspects and detained two individuals related to this disturbing case.
The incident unfolded around 6:30 in the morning on May 10, near a tea stall located outside the hotel, when the Kalkaji Police Station received a distress call concerning the women. Upon arrival, authorities discovered that the women were victims of derogatory remarks escalating into physical abuse.
The episode, documented in part by videos on social media, showed a group of men reportedly under alcohol's influence targeting the women with abusive language and violence. The police, utilizing CCTV footage and witness testimony, have launched a comprehensive investigation to bring all culprits to justice.
