Three transgender individuals have been apprehended following an alleged assault on rival group members over a territorial dispute, police reported on Monday. The incident took place on May 10 amidst a conflict between factions in Pulianthope and Moolakothalam.
The tensions began a month earlier with a defection from Salma's group, headquartered in Pulianthope, to a rival faction in Moolakothalam, escalating when members allegedly vandalized a residence on May 9.
The following day, an attack was reported near K P Park, leading to injuries and an official complaint by Salma that resulted in the arrest of three individuals, while a search continues for additional suspects.
