In a chilling episode unfolding in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun district, authorities have held a man and his sister-in-law following the grim discovery of his 45-year-old wife's body in their home.
Local police, led by Circle Officer Shailendra Kumar Bajpai, acted upon information received on Monday night regarding the death in Kudra Kudari village. The deceased has been identified as Babli Kushwaha, spouse of Sushil Kushwaha.
Upon investigating, Sushil was found in an intoxicated condition while his sister-in-law, Chandrakali—widow of the late Rajaram Kushwaha—was also present. Evidence has been collected, and the body is being scrutinized in a post-mortem. The exact cause behind this tragic event will be clarified with the report, Bajpai elaborated.
