In a dramatic turn of events in West Delhi's Kirti Nagar, police have registered two First Information Reports (FIRs) concerning a stray dog killing and subsequent assaults, an official announced on Tuesday.
The controversy began when Tarun Ghai filed a complaint against security guard Vinod Paswan, alleging that Paswan attacked a stray dog with an iron rod. Despite attempts to save the injured dog, it succumbed to its injuries after being moved for treatment.
Adding to the complexity, police revealed that an animal activist allegedly assaulted Paswan outside the Kirti Nagar police station, an incident caught on camera and widely shared online. Investigations into both the dog killing and the assault are in progress as reports of mutual allegations emerge.
