AAP Delhi unit president Saurabh Bharadwaj, alongside women councillors, staged a protest at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. The demonstration focused on demanding justice for a three-year-old girl allegedly raped at a private school in Janakpuri.
The party highlighted lapses in police accountability, accusing officers of intimidating the victim's family. Despite charges under the POCSO Act, the accused received bail shortly after arrest, raising concerns about the investigation's integrity.
Led by former mayor Shelly Oberoi, the delegation demanded a fair probe and action against the school's administration. The protest underscored the urgent need for authoritative intervention to ensure justice for the child.
