A shocking act of violence unfolded in Mumbai's Mahim area, where a 22-year-old man was allegedly murdered in the early hours of Thursday. The incident occurred near Raheja Hospital and involved a group of individuals, including a woman, according to police.
The victim, identified as Sohail Sheikh from Naya Nagar, was reportedly attacked over an old rivalry. The accused stopped him as he was passing through the area, allegedly leading to a heated argument before they assaulted him with a sharp weapon. Sheikh was quickly transported to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The Mahim police have already arrested three individuals, among them a woman, and are in pursuit of other suspects believed to be connected to the crime. The case has been registered for murder and other related offences under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, with police suspecting the involvement of at least six individuals.
