In a strategic meeting held on Friday, Jharkhand BJP leaders focused on two primary issues: the revision of electoral rolls and the challenges faced by farmers due to adverse weather conditions. The party highlighted the necessity to rectify voter lists marred with inaccuracies.
The state BJP president, Aditya Sahu, and opposition leader Babulal Marandi, among other senior leaders, discussed the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The BJP asserts that lists include non-Indians and deceased electors, stressing the urgency for clean voter records.
Simultaneously, the BJP addressed the plight of farmers affected by storms and unseasonal rains. Criticizing the government's MSP policies, the party announced statewide dharnas to advocate for farmers' interests.
